Casa Rural Rocío
is a 19th century farmhouse lying in the valley of Orgiva in the Alpujarra
region, [south of Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains]
[which is surrounded by] a land rich in milleniary olive trees, and
orange trees, and enveloped in the perfumes of orange, jasmine and
honeysuckle which grow at ease in this benign climate.
Our guests come to feel part of the farm whose principal activity
is attending to the crops of raspberries and strawberries, loganberries
and mulberries, oranges and apples, olives, tomatoes and peppers etc)
which we grow in this lovely place.
The high snow-peaks of the Sierra Nevada,
in view from our terraces, greet the sun every morning and we are
close to the Costa where it is
a delight to watch the sun go down among the sub-tropical mango, custard
apple, and nispero orchards of the valleys which run down to the sea
[at Motril and Almuñecar]. |
